Work on creating our handmade leather satchels and laptop bags in our workshop ground to a halt the other day (13th March) whilst the Hindu festival of Holi is celebrated. Holi marks the happy transition from harsh dark winter months to brighter warmer springtime. The celebration is unlike most we see in the UK and involves pelting each other with handfuls of paint powders.

We have been lucky to be in India a few times for Holi, it's a great time to visit as long as you are prepared and in old clothes and ready to be covered in paint powder. One trip to our workshop wasn't very well planned and Matt arrived in Delhi unknown to him on Holi and was covered with bright blue paint before then having to take a 36 hour train journey!

Pictured here are our lovely friends Dinnesh and Nikki (and their kids) who are usually busy overseeing the workshop which makes our vintage range of leather satchels, laptop bags and travel bags.
